Coach Julen Lopetegui, 56, also took the reins of Sevillano in the Liga game away to Espanyol on Saturday. If the performance is not better, there is a chance to bounce off the chair as well.

Sevilla coach Julen Lopetegui will also have the chance to make a comeback against Espanyol on Saturday. Sevillano’s board has yet to sack the 56-year-old coach in the wake of a poor start to the season, Diario As reported on Thursday.

Sevilla have had a poor start to the season. Collecting just one point from their first four La Liga games before being thrash 4-0 by Manchester City in the Champions League group stage. On Tuesday, Andalusia’s board would convene a meeting on Wednesday to discuss Lopetegui’s future. Before it was decide the 56-year-old had a chance to make amends in the away ufabet game against S. Panyol on the Liga stage this Saturday.

According to reports, club president Jose Casto and sporting director Monchi have informed captains Jesus Navas and Ivan Rakitic of the club’s decision if Lopete’s team Ki also disappoints in Saturday’s away game against Parrots, possibly taking the 56-year-old’s last reins.

Even if he does win the next few games, it rarely seems to end well when a club is basing their decisions on the coming games. Obviously there is a tipping point in terms of confidence, but more often than not reversing the balance proves too tricky in modern football.
